The Home Edition: Design, Build, Furnish, Flora

When it’s finally time to redesign your master suite, renovate your kitchen, create the garden oasis that populates your Pinterest board, or build the home of your dreams, we can help! There are supremely talented professionals based in Stonington Borough who are at the top of their game and we’d like to introduce them to you!

Grand and Water 2

Redesign, Stage and Project Management

Deborah Norman of Grand & Water Antiques and Karen von Ruffer Hills have pooled their immeasurable talents to create Grand & Water 2 — a home services spinoff they describe as “Redesign, Stage and Project Management”.

Working with what you already own, they redesign — rearrange your furniture, artwork, and accessories to make your home more functional and give your space an entirely new look. They’ll shop for additional items, and even decorate for special events and holidays.

They stage — It’s no secret that people who want to increase their home’s appeal, sell faster, and for more money use professional stagers to de-clutter and de-personalize — which is why Deborah and Karen spend a significant amount of time doing it. They also help clients transition into smaller homes.

They manage projects — Whether it’s a home project that needs attention or dissolving a loved one’s estate, Deborah and Karen can be the liaison between lawyers, appraisers, auctioneers, and realtors. They can ensure legacies are distributed to charities of choice, valuables are distributed to family and friends and houses are prepared for sale.
