An Unforgettable Summer Experience: Music at The Lighthouse with Salt Marsh Opera

If you do one thing this summer, make it this: Pack a picnic and spend an enchanting evening where passion, emotion, and the power of the human voice come alive.

On Sunday, July 9 at 6 pm set against the stunning backdrop of the Lighthouse and the cobalt blue waters of Fisher’s Island Sound, Salt Marsh Opera will be showcasing the extraordinary talents of soprano Francesca Federico, tenor Brian Cheney and pianist Blake Hansen in Music at the Lighthouse.

Many of you may remember Francesca and Brian from Salt Marsh Opera’s recent production of Carmen. Together with Blake, they will transport you to the captivating world of live opera and timeless Broadway melodies; a celebration of the art form that has inspired generations with a shared love for the dramatic and the sublime.

Music at The Lighthouse is more than just music. It’s about bringing the community together and fostering a love for the arts. As each note soars high above the tides, you'll be supporting Salt Marsh Opera’s mission of enriching communities through exceptional opera productions. The proceeds from this event will help fund Salt Marsh Opera's educational outreach programs, ensuring that the magic of opera continues to inspire and touch lives.

Gather your friends and family, bring your picnic essentials, and prepare to immerse yourself in an unforgettable performance. We promise — you’ll be moved, delighted, and inspired!
